Rizzle Kicks Review @ 53 Degrees - 3rd June 2012

British hip hop duo Rizzle Kicks are well known in the music industry for their new school hip hop sound, DIY beats and killer hooks. So it’s no surprise that their show at Preston’s 53 Degrees pulled in a big crowd.

Kicking off their set with Prophet (Better Watch It), the pair soon got the audience into a frenzy screaming, cheering and singing along with them, especially to their version of Ed Sheeran’s You Need Me, I Don’t Need You.

Not only did Jordan and Harley perform songs from their debut album Stereo Typical including Mama Do The Hump, Traveller’s Chant and When I Was A Youngster, they also incorporated the well known James Bond theme song, Justin Timberlake’s Senorita and White Stripes Seven Nation Army, all of which drove the crowd crazy.

Ending the show with the song they are most well known for, Down With The Trumpets, the pair thanked the audience for their immense energy and positive vibes. After such a fantastic show, I think that the majority of people that attended will agree with me in saying that Rizzle Kicks are always welcome to come back and play another great show.
